Meet Danny

Real-world experience. Research-backed insight. Practical action.

I help organizations build high-performing teams by creating the conditions where people do their best work.

This work started long before I stepped onto a stage

I've been building businesses since I was 14, when I started selling boxing gloves out of my parents' garage.

That first business led to others, including what we proudly called the world's most protective jockstrap. (Yes, really.)

Later, I launched a manufacturing agency working with brands like Peloton, Traeger, and Gravity Blankets.

By my early twenties, I was leading a remote, multi-generational team in Hong Kong that I only saw in person a few weeks each year.

I kept asking one question:

How do I make the most of the time I have with my team?

Managing the work wasn't enough. I had to understand the people doing it.

What they wanted to build. The skills they hoped to develop. What mattered most in their lives.

When people felt safe, understood, and connected:
They spoke up. They took ownership. They brought forward ideas nobody had asked for.

Over time, we generated eight figures in revenue.

But the most important thing we built wasn't the business.

It was the environment we created.

From experience to evidence

After leaving the business, I wanted to know if what I'd experienced was unique to my team or true everywhere.

That led me to a bigger question…

What creates high-performing teams?

Through years of research and hundreds of interviews with executives, managers, and frontline employees, the same three conditions kept showing up.

  • A dot inside a ring, the Safety condition mark

    Safety

So people speak up, admit mistakes, solve problems sooner, and contribute their best ideas.

  • An hourglass outline, the Understanding condition mark

    Understanding

So people stay longer, continue growing, and do their best work.

  • Two overlapping circles, the Connection condition mark

    Connection

So trust grows, collaboration strengthens, and teams perform at a higher level.
